Objective

EDP is a program meant to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the people. The concept of entrepreneurship development program involves equipping a person with the required skills and knowledge needed for starting and running the enterprise. It refers to inculcation development and polishing of entrepreneurial skills into a person needed to establish and successfully run his / her enterprise.

  • Self-Supported Assignment (SSA) should have contents of minimum five pages.
  • First page should contain Name, Roll number, Assignment Topic & Date.
  • Class presentation/poster presentation topic will be informed by the course coordinator.
  • Students can deliver the Class presentation poster by using teaching aids.
  • Minimum duration for delivery of Class presentation is 5 minutes.
  • Class presentation/ presentation material should be submitted to the respective course coordinator.
  • Evaluation is based on presentation  and  the material submitted

Unit II

Micro small and Medium Enterprises – Legal Framework – Licenses – Role of Promotional Institutions – KINFRA- KITCO.MSME &Dics – Concessions – Incentives and Subsidies.

Unit III

Project Management – Feasibility and Viability analysis – Technical – Financial – Network – Appraisal and Evaluation – Project Report Preparation.

 Unit IV

Identification of Business Opportunities in the context – Rate of ED Clubs – Industrial Policies – Skill Development for Entrepreneurs.

 Unit V

Business incubation – Meaning – Setting up of Business Incubation Centres- E-commerce
